About the event
Learn a few basic tools and skills for making Brass ART with Erin Hawley of Rag and Stone with the assistance of Claire Brosten of Trillium Metals! We will be creating a wall hanging coinciding with each phase of the Moon, using disc cutters, drill press, hammers, radial sanding motor, and bench jewelry hand tools. This is an excellent intro to simple skills for cold-connecting components in sheet brass, and beyond! We will cover cutting shapes, adding textures, drilling holes, making jump rings, sanding, and finishing. Beginner friendly! No jewelry experience needed. Please bring your own safety glasses if you have them, and your creativity!
