Borrow tools for your projects
A tool library is like a traditional library- instead of books, members can borrow tools to support their projects. Through shared access to items, a tool library open opportunities and helps foster a sense of community.

Donate tools, equipment and supplies to The Making Place! Do you have old stuff collecting dust in your garage or that closet under the stairs? Email tool_library@themakingplacemt.com to set up a donation.
4. Pick-up your tool
Pick up your tool from the drop box at our location in Columbia Falls.
Return your tool to our drop
box on or before the last day of your reservation
3. Make a reservation
Reservations last up to seven days.
Tools reserved the day of will be available for pickup the following weekday.
2. Find your tool
Members can sign-in to our "tool check-out" page.
Then you will be able to browse our live inventory and search for available tools.
