About the event
We’re thrilled to kick off our Artisan Workshop Series with a special Cyanotype Printing Workshop led by Megan Crawford of Wild Wanderer in Columbia Falls. Megan is a beloved member of Montana's creative community, and we’re so excited to offer this opportunity to learn from her.
In this hands-on class, you’ll explore the beautiful, blue-toned world of cyanotype printing, one of the oldest photographic processes. You’ll create striking prints using sunlight, natural materials and treated paper. All materials are included, and you’ll leave with your own original cyanotypes and the skills to continue experimenting at home.
Feel free to bring your own items to use in your designs. Think pressed flowers, lace, feathers, doilies, leaves, or other small, flat objects with interesting shapes. These personal touches can help create a truly unique and meaningful piece.
