About the event
Join us for an evening with world-renowned textile artist, Kaffe Fassett. An Eye for Colour is designed to inspire and motivate. Kaffe’s presentation highlights work from his latest projects and collaborations, including his patchwork, fabric, needlepoint, mosaics, painting and knitting designs. For 2025, much of the lecture will focus on his recent museum exhibition, The Power of Pattern, and his new book, Kaffe Fassett’s Quilts in London, Photographed at Camden Lock Market. Kaffe's inspiration comes from his and Brandon’s travels throughout the world. His lecture is designed not so much to instruct, but to empower and inspire the audience to create and develop their "mind's eye.” Audiences leave invigorated - entranced by Kaffe's sense and use of colour; they are ready to try it themselves and are encouraged to do so. The slide show lasts approximately one hour followed by a Q&A session and book signing.
