Give your well-loved clothing a second life while learning the art of visible mending! In this hands-on experience, we’ll explore the traditional Japanese technique of Sashiko, a beautiful and functional stitching method used to reinforce and repair worn fabric.


You'll learn basic Sashiko stitching patterns, how to patch and reinforce holes, and creative ways to turn rips and tears into unique design elements. Whether you're repairing a favorite pair of jeans, a sturdy pair of Carhartts, or a cozy sweatshirt, this class will help you extend the life of your garments while adding personal flair.


What to Bring: One piece of clothing to mend (denim, canvas, or sturdy cotton materials recommended).


What’s Provided: All other materials, including thread, needles, fabric patches, and embroidery hoops.


Skill Level: No sewing experience necessary! This workshop is beginner-friendly and open to all.
