Artist Interview September, 2025 with River Naile on The Making Place Podcast
Jenna Justice of Jenna Justice Studio Works is The Making Place's October Maker of the Month. Learn more about her Mixed Media Collage Workshop here.

Jenna Justice is an artist from Bigfork, Montana, who creates abstract paintings using a number of mediums, including acrylic paint, metal leaf, and alcohol ink. She also builds custom mini outdoor libraries.
A Music Therapist by training, she has redirected her artistic energies to visual arts, resulting in stark, bright, and moving pieces that challenge the viewer to interpret them through their individual lens.
Her greatest satisfaction comes when a person connects deeply with one of her pieces, and a “match is made.”

"I am an abstract artist, so what that means for me and my process is that I don’t necessarily know where Im going when I start my painting…
my process is that I come from a color story and I just start building using the colors I’m feeling and then starting to build in layers and textures."
Learn about layering techniques and emphasizing process in Jenna's Mixed Media Collage Workshop.
