Sierra is a Montana local who recently moved back to the state with her partner and daughter from Washington. She has practiced basket weaving for several years, sourcing all materials from her local environment. While opening her massage practice, she began learning basket weaving through in-person classes. Over time, she has discovered a deeper sense of patience and balance in many areas of her life through the craft.

"I have these few moments in my life where theres not external noise or external stimulation where I’m fully able to just be and weaving is one of those times where it’s just me and this."

"For me making a basket for someone is like a mini prayer. I’m thinking about you while I’m making this basket, I’m thinking about how much I love you, and admire you and how I wish the best for you! Making something for someone else is just a spectacular feeling."
