We are looking for new members to flush out our working board.
Our Board Structure:
We have a working board with 9 committees and 4 officers. Each committee includes a lead in addition to supporting roles filled by volunteer members and other board members. The graphic below illustrates our board leadership structure and the positions we are seeking to fill.

Why join/ who are we looking for?
Board service is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and grow your resume or utilize your established skills to give back to the community. We are looking for motivated and inspired individuals regardless of age or background. While relevant professional experience is a big plus, we equally acknowledge the potential for a driven individual to learn the skills necessary to fulfill their duties.
Commitment & expectations:
Our board meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm.
Committees meet (in addition to the all board meeting) ~ once a month.
Board terms may vary between 1-3 years, beginning and ending in June.
Lead roles currently dedicate ~32 hours each month but the official requirement is no less than 10 hours each month.
Onboarding process:
Accepted candidates will first be asked to take on a small project within the committee they have applied to. Through this project the candidate can learn about TMP's work, meet other board members and see if board service is the right fit.
Upon successful completion of this initial project, candidates will be up for election to the board in June when our annual terms begin and end.
If elected, new board members will be expected to participate in a day of on-boarding before beginning their new board duties.
