Let the planning begin!

Our board has begun the process of planning and preparing for Harvest Moon Fest 2025 to be held on October 4th, save the date!

This fun fall arts festival is our annual celebration of craft, creativity and community. It is also a benefit for The Making Place, raising essential funds to grow our offerings over the next year. Harvest Moon Fest showcases the bounty of local makers, offers hands-on creative experiences and fosters meaningful connections.

Get Involved!

This year we've got multiple ways to support and participate the production of Harvest Moon Fest.

Volunteering

ree

Interested in helping out in person on the day of the event? Or maybe even the day before and after? We will need lots of hands to help with the logistics of this large festival. From parking to ticketing, face painting to filling water jugs, the list of volunteer needs is long! Sign-up for a volunteer time & task here.

Sponsorship

Last year, our Harvest Moon Fest was attended by 500 people. We are expecting to host at least 500 if not more people this year. Consider sponsoring our festival to support this celebration of arts and community.

Donations

We are seeking a few different types of donations for our event happenings:

  • Game prizes

  • Pies for our raffle

Last year, our Harvest Moon Fest was attended by 500 people. We are expecting to host at least 500 if not more people this year. Please consider donating goods for the promotional opportunity and help us support the arts.

If you can help supply us with these any of things, please reach out to our board member Amy via email, amy@themakingplacemt.com.

Call for Music

ree

We are looking for 2-3 more musical acts to perform mid-day and evening sets at the festival. Last year we heard the awesome tunes of DJ Gabe and Goosetooth. Interested in playing Harvest Moon Fest or know of someone who might be? Reach out to our board member Amy via email, amy@themakingplacemt.com.

Lead an Art Activity

We are looking for a handful of high quality and diverse hands-on art activities to offer during the fest. Interested in volunteering your creative skills? Submit a proposal for consideration to Amy and Tricia, amy@themakingplacemt.com and tricia@themakingplacemt.com.
