The Making Place Opening Day

Well, today is the day. June 1st, 2025- The Making Place officially opens its communal workspace. Located on the 3rd floor above Uptown Hearth at 619 Nucleus Ave in Columbia Falls. Your local makerspace is here.

Since we set out to create a makerspace, beginning in the fall of 2023, it has been the ultimate goal to open a physical location. A communal workspace where artists & makers can use shared equipment and create together. A space where the community can gather to share and learn.

By the immense effort of our dedicated board and so many volunteers, that ultimate goal of opening a location has come to fruition.
