Add an event to our calendar!

We want our calendar to grow into a public hub for creative event listings. If you have a creative event to share, we'd probably like to promote it. Please submit your event for review!

Have an event idea?

We would love to connect you with our community partners and help you bring a workshop, class or event to life.

We see the need in our community for a
"third Space."

About Us

Who we are

The Making Place is organized by volunteers and a "working board." We are a group of local artists, makers and professionals alike working to create a makerspace for our community.

What we do

We are a new non-profit organization working to start a makerspace & community art studio in The Flathead Valley. After a successful first year of satellite workshops, classes and events we are expanding our programming and services while fundraising for a physical location.

A public house where people can learn skills and practice their craft
